July 14, 2024 - Gatorade Sunday
Sunday Samaritans, We completed the project at Ms. Veronia Jones’. She has often expressed to me her appreciation for the work you all have done, so I pass that along to you. We will begin a new project in August in the Bartlett area. For our July project, we will do “Gatorade Sunday”. We will go out to certain locations and hand out Ice Cold Gatorade to the men and women who sell newspapers on the side of the street. I will hand out 2 or 3 bottles to each person participating immediately after the Sycamore View worship service (this is approximately 11:30 am). I will give you locations to drive to. Jesus said a person who gives as little as a cup of cold water in my name will be blessed. See you Sunday.
June 23, 2024 - Ms. Jones
Our next work date will be Sunday June 23. We are finishing up this job. This will be our final work day on this project. We will be painting. We will also do some yard work.
May 5, 2024 - Ms. Jones
We are going to work again this coming Sunday May 5. I know that will make 2 Sundays in a row, but in May we have Mother’s Day on one Sunday and Memorial Day weekend, so Sundays are limited. We are finishing up this job. We worked last Sunday and got a lot done, but we have just a little more to do. We will replace some wood and do some caulking.
April 28, 2024 - Ms. Jones
We have been on this project for a while. The completion is in sight. We had some things that prevented us from doing our project the past 2 months, but we are ready to go now. We are about to complete this project.
January 14, 2024 - Ms. Jones
Canceled Our next project will be Sunday, January 14th at 1 pm. We will be replacing rotten wood & caulking. We have been on this project for a while. The completion is in sight.
October 29, 2023 - Ms. Jones
We will be going back to Ms. Jones’ home on Bragg Road in Arlington and painting. We will also do siding repairs. (We will be pulling off old siding and replacing plus caulking some areas). We have been on this project for a while. The completion is in sight. (By the way our November date is Nov 19)

We will go back to Ms. Jones home on Sunday August 6th at 1 pm to do some PAINTING. YES, we will be painting the wood that has replaced the rotten wood thus far. We still have more wood to replace, but we have a lot done.

We will go back to Ms. Jones home on Sunday June 4th at 1 pm to do some home repairs. We will be replacing rotten wood and doing a little yard work as well. This has been a long job but I can see the end in sight now. Ms. Jones really needed some help on her siding. Thanks to all you who come out and donate your Sundays to love others.
